For many years I had used charcoal, specifically KINGSFORD. I have worked at many different jobs in many different fields. But I must say that one of my favoritest places of employment was at the Kingsford manufacturing plant in Springfield, Oregon. There, I learned many of the basics BBQing and the composition of a briquette. One of the greatest perks to working there was that I received a 10 pound bag of charcoal every week. Very nice!!!
Webster's Dictionary defines "to barbecue" as "to roast or broil (food, such as meat) on a rack or revolving spit over or before a source of heat (such as hot coals or a gas flame)." Well, that is pretty vague. Thus, the content of this website is to build on some basics together as we turn Webster's drab definition into fun filled expression of who we each are.
